[The Source of Life]——arc-shaped danxia rock grooves
The landscape here is formed by the beautiful reflection of danxia cliffs on water and is called as “the source of life”, as it resembles woman’s vulva. The nearly horizontal rock layers flake off along the joints and fissures, developing a group of small arc-shaped rock grooves. Being close to water surface, the magic power of nature forms this unique landscape, implying the concept of “unity of human and nature”. It also happens to coincides with the philosophy in a Chinese classic “Yi Zhuan”——“Interaction between male and female begets myriad creatures, and endless possibilities also derive from it”.
